Finnish for foreigners
Finland is a lovely country, but to make your everyday life more enjoyable, learning Finnish is necessary. The language may sound difficult, but I can help you learn the basics in a friendly and encouraging way. If you already master the basic skills, I can help you to the next level.
My backround is as an elementary school teacher. I have worked in multicultural schools and as part of my normal everyday work, taught basic Finnish to children who have recently arrived to Finland.
In 2015, a large number of asylum seekers from Iraq arrived to Finland. On a voluntary basis I taught basic Finnish language skills to a group of around 50 of them.
